My sweet live wanted to get a better walkway in the front yard. I finally got my butt of the ground to do it.
Making the forms after leveling the ground was harder than I thought, but ok. I have to say the concrete business is more of an art than science. Watching the finisher do books magic was pretty humbling. Still want to do it myself next time. Now I just have to find time to finish it up.

Semantic Search and how it seems to change the Web
I found this set of videos very interesting as they point to the way search seems to develop.
Getting answers to questions instead of links to Websites. Relying on your reputation on the web to score you in the Google result page. It told me how to work on generating trust on the web and how SEO seems to be an animal of the past soon.
I watched all of them, loved it.

Baguette next edition
I really think I got it now. The shaking still needs improvement, but the rest seems to come similar every time.

Baguette trial#8
One more trial on the baguette front. This time I set the rack one step lower, and all is done after 13 minutes@ 550F.
I am getting a little better at shaping, but could really use some advise from experienced bakers and shapers. How do I get them to be a little more uniform? Can anyone tell me?
Anyway, I am glad this batch worked out well as tonight the master baker de anne, comes with laurel. I will await her judgement.
